If the viscosity of the oil is too low or the cleanliness of the lubricant is not high enough, it can lead to abnormal wear or even damage to the crankshaft. Additionally, during operation, if there is mixing of oils and liquid refrigerants entering the crankcase mix with refrigerant oil and create foam, it can reduce lubrication effectiveness at various friction points, thereby exacerbating wear. Furthermore, bearing shells and connecting rod bearings are made from babbitt alloy; if metal particles from their wear are present in the refrigerant oil, it will further accelerate crankshaft wear.
